All our products manufactured at our partner's Franklin Foods factory South of Auckland. Their state of the art plant is registered as a Processing facility by NZ MAF under number PH 479 which covers meat and fish processing for export. The plant is also accredited with a Halal food processing licence.
All equipment is very modern, using Koppens Equipment from Holland. The plant also has a full forming, breading, and crumbing line, with flash frying and cooking equipment. It has a steam cooking and grill marking line for cooked patties / hamburgers.
FFL's plant has a Spiral Freezer System, which will freeze up to 550 kg per hour to -18 ° C. With 2 shifts per day, FFL can produce up to 10 mt, or 1 container per day, of frozen processed product. Our holding freezer capacity is 250 mt.
FFL facility also includes an automatic Tray Wrap Packaging System, for retail ready packs, including product labelling, bar coding and ingredient listing. It also runs an automatic Retail Carton Sealing line for Meat Pattie packs.
The plant has a full hygiene and production system in place, including H.A.C.C.P. as a requirement of their Export Licence. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry maintains a regular check on the facilities including, veterinarian visits and system audits, to verify our systems are being maintained to New Zealand Government Standards.
